2021 has been a year of both challenge and triumph for many of us. At times out hearts were heavy with grief having to deal with our losses. We picked ourselves up with the drive and determination not to be beaten, only to emerge on the other side better and stronger.
This is true for us at Aboutface Training.
2021 has seen us move into dimensions we could only dream of the year before. Our Anti-Racism training hit the ground running and exploded into market unapologetically. The reception to highlighting bias, while strengthening anti racism practice and how to have brave conversations has been received gallantly. This experience has been both in our E-learning package and our face to face seminars.
We are so proud to give birth to Aboutface Publishing and our first book; Africa’s New Coat. The first month of sales have soared even during the high of the Christmas period. We can not wait for everyone to meet the main character Africa. Her experience of challenge, heartbreak and life lessons will evoke some brave but necessary conversations.
The dialog will undoubtedly continue as we embark on another new year. 2022 will be an exciting year for AboutFace Training. We have connected with many ally’s and look forward to nurturing fruitful partnerships. We are looking forward to developing our ideas that will impact societal change.
In an emerging world of increased connectivity through technology, we at Aboutface Training are looking forward to connecting with real human beings. To have real human conversations that support, uplifts and inspires us all to do better. Yes. conversations may also be challenging, but we all know that human growth evolves when we are most uncomfortable.
Come let us join hands and leap into the new year 2022 with hope, love and encouragement. With the celebration of difference which includes race, culture and lifestyles that will surely invest in a generation who has nothing to fear.
